John Garcia Jr. is a lifelong football advocate whose passion for the game has shaped every stage of his career. A former college football player, he has dedicated his professional life to the sport, helping influence both its present and future through recruiting, player development, and athlete advocacy.

A graduate of Averett University and Syracuse University, Garcia focuses on mentoring student-athletes and their families while providing expert guidance in recruiting, representation, and personal brand development. His mission is to help athletes maximize opportunities both on and off the field while navigating the increasingly complex landscape of modern college football.

Before becoming a licensed agent with Prospex and recruiting consultant, Garcia built a nationally recognized career in football media, scouting, and recruiting analysis. He held leadership roles across some of the industry’s most respected platforms, including leading recruiting coverage at Sports Illustrated and serving as a national recruiting analyst for Rivals, 247Sports, CBS Sports, and the Locked On Network. His experience evaluating talent, covering the recruiting process, and building relationships throughout the football community has made him a trusted voice in the industry.

As the founder of NLX and Director of Football Operations at The Influencer Counsel, one of the nation’s premier football talent agencies, Garcia works with some of the country’s top high school and college football players. He helps athletes and their families navigate recruiting, revenue sharing, name, image, and likeness (NIL) opportunities, brand development, and long-term career planning.
